The Wyoming State Bar regulates legal practice and assists attorneys in providing quality services to the public. It offers resources such as continuing education, lawyer referrals, and pro bono programs to support lawyers and enhance access to justice. The organization was established as a voluntary association in 1915 and became an integrated bar in 1939, according to its official website.
The association operates under an elected board of officers and commissioners representing each judicial district, combining regulatory duties with professional development initiatives as Wyoming’s official integrated bar according to its official website. In addition, it advances public access to justice through pro bono programs and volunteer efforts by lawyers across the state according to its official website.
The organization also honors outstanding contributions through awards programs while supporting both attorneys and community needs throughout Wyoming according to its official website.
